At Cambium we are proud of our planting designs. We carefully choose from a large palette of interesting and many times uncommon plant materials. Code Compliance
Today, government agencies maintain strict land ordinance. Cambium is well-versed in assuring compliance as expediently and efficiently as possible. We have experience with city code on tree removal as well as shoreline restoration, on right-of-way use and soils engineering. We will navigate the laws and requirements to make your project happen.
Design Process
Landscapes are carefully planned with an understanding of a client’s desires, goals, and budget. This early discussion is essential to help assure client expectations are met and time is used efficiently. We study the site to document and explore the garden potential and it’s mesh with the home architecture.
With a feel for the site and guidance from the client, we develop concepts custom-fit to their landscape. To effectively communicate our ideas, we use photo narratives, plan drawings, elevations and details, sketches, computer graphics, and site walk-throughs. Preliminary construction estimates guide design refinement and client approval for the build-ready process.
